In this section, the Institute for Afghan
Studies will present a comprehensive study of the role of Pakistani
governments in the Afghan conflict. From their sponsorship of
rebel groups against the regime of President Daoud, to the hijacking of
the Afghan Jihad against the invading Soviet troops, to their
sponsorship of favorite proxies resulting in the destruction of Afghan
cities, to their latest attempt in propping up a regime that is not only
at war with Afghanistan's present and future but also her past,
Pakistani government's finger prints are everywhere in this cycle of
misery, death and destruction of Afghanistan and Afghans.
